Well I finally did it - I bought a kayak. It's a used Valley Canoe Products Argonaut. I bought it from a guy in Rochester, and a friend of mine picked it up and drove it down to the city.
Here it is at the boathouse. I can't wait to take it out after the water warms up a bit.
