Reagan

I'm not sure I'm buying this rehabilitation of Reagan as the key driver of nuclear arms reduction.

Maybe. He pushed bounds. He led. But he also had a skeevy administration (Ira-Contra), self-righteous attorney general (Meese), ignored the AIDS crisis, low oversight and regulation of the financial industry.

Seriously? He reduced nuclear arms? Good, but while the rest of the country rattled on? A little more even-handed-ness please.
