Survivors

I just fineshed the two seasons of BBC series Survivors - an easy feat since each series was only six 50-minute episodes.

I liked it, despite the melodrama, despite the mustache-twirling villains. The show is ostensibly about a group of (mostly) middle class Brits who survive a global flu pandemic and must contend with the collapse of society afterwards. It ends on a great cliffhanger, which we'll sadly not see through, as the series was cancelled.

Having watched it all, a better description might be: a group of middle class Brits who,in every episode, are split up, arrange a search and rescue party, and then change the rescue plan at least twice while splitting into smaller groups, and who then manage to find each other by then end. It's Chaos theory at it's best.
