The Girl with the Golden Arms

I noticed yesterday that my arms are very tan. I've been developing a tan all summer, and doing what I can to develop an even tan. My arms, however, are downright golden.

I think the reason is that a fair amount of my sun time has been spent in a kayak.

When I go out, I'm sitting in a boat, covered with a sprayskirt up to my waist. I've taken to wearing hats to protect my hair, scalp, and face. Maybe my shoulders are golden too, but my back is mostly covered by the swimsuits that I wear.

That leaves my arms. By browned, golden arms, exposed in the August sun.
