Come Back Here

We were talking at work the other day about our mission, explaining some of what we do to our counterparts in another part of the team. Basically I work with one other engineer to create standards for the Macintosh computers at our company. Long neglected, many Macintosh users and businesses are reluctant to take our help. "We've been on our own for so long," the reasoning goes, "we like how we're doing things."

We finally summed up our situation for our Windows counterparts. We're a bit like the doctor reaching out to schizophrenics who have been off their meds. We have to convince the patient that we're here to help, to put down the curtain rod, which isn't really a sword, and come with us. All will be well soo, if you just take our medicine.
