OK, when can we expect that Diablo Cody, the writer of Juno, will no longer be referred to as a 'former stripper', or by the less damning alternative, 'former exotic dancer' ? Every news media article in the past year has mentioned that aspect of the Oscar-winning writer's past, and while I'm sure she isn't entirely ashamed of it (reclaiming the word, owning your history, whatever), I'm just as sure that now that she's an OSCAR-WINNING WRITER that she'll watch to ditch that sobriquet.
After all, who wants to walk into a pitch meeting as 'the former stripper'?
